need hyperlink in Query Studio results that opens a URL in another browser

Using Cognos BI 8.4, I need to create a model query item that will appear in query studio as a hyperlink that opens in a separate browser.  The hyperlink can be static text, or ideally a record identifier.  For example, I want to show 1234 as the hyperlink value that, when clicked, opens an external application that shows order 1234 (e.g. http://myordersystem.com?orderid=1234).  This is easy enough in report studio, but we need query studio to have this capability with a simple drag and drop from the package.  Has anyone been able to do this?
