Hello,

I need to provide [Current Day of calendar] as a parameter value for my report so that users
don't need to select a calendar day when they whant to view the report RESULT.

I intend to automatically execute the report early in the morning with th current calendar day as parameter in the report.

How do i mange this ?

1- Do i use a detailed filter by using the LEVEL of my [Calendar Day] DIMENSION.
Or should i use the KEY of my  [Calendar Day] DIMENSION ?
In both cases what should be the syntax to use  ?

2- Or should i use instead a SLICER in my query ? If so what should the syntax look like ?

I am using report studio against a package based on a cube coming from BW. So some functions in Report Studio are not available to us.

Thanks in advance for any valuable advice !
