Please can anyone tell me where I can download the latest version of Planning and tm1, I need to install and learn these software.

Many thanks!

Downloading the software couldn't be easier. Go to https://www-112.ibm.com/software/howtobuy/softwareandservices and log in. If you're not an existing customer, please state which country you're in. I'm sure many of the users here, including myself, represent IBM Partners and Cognos resellers and would be very glad to help you purchase a license.

Thanks, however, I need a trial and assessment before our company decide to buy the licence, I can't find a trial version of planning or tm1 through https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/download/searchquery.jsp

Can anyone tell me how to get a trial version? thanks!

And I would be very surprised if you could download a trial version, that's simply not the way it works for enterprise software!  If your enquiry is genuine I'm sure your local IBM Cognos rep or partner would be only too pleased to set up a proof of concept environment to let you try out the software and make sure that it will do what they say prior to purchase.

Thanks, Microsoft does provide a lots of trial version software at www.microsoft.com, even theris BI products "performance point"
without the trial and assessment no company can decide to buy a system with such vast investment.

I have tried to contact local IBM, however, there is no response after two weeks.

another question is if a student or an IT personnel need study on planning or Tm1, how can they can get a install pack without pay the money to buy the licence?(they don't have enough money to pay a licence so that they don't have the chance to study the system?)

I know everyone is concering about the software pirates, however, provide a trial should not be a problem to your potential customer, or a student or an IT guy for the sake of study.

My guess is that any students that use the software as part of their course would have a limited license/access provided through their university/college

Likewise for any 'IT Guys' that are doing it as part of a course through an approved IT education provider?

Anyway, good luck
