Tree prompt as pop-up in Cognos 8.3

I am using Cognos 8.3, My Customer wants  tree prompt as pop-up in report,

Can any body help me with this requirement.

You can achieve that be using Javascript.

I think that there is an article in proven practises which shows a pop up with a value prompt.
