Send mail if a job fail - Event Studio

Can any one have idea how we can schedule a Event Studio to email Admin group when a job failed.

Use the Audit package to create a report that shows all jobs/Reports. Create a column in the report the shows the sucess or Fail

Create a simple event that if Column = 'Fail' then Action 'Email'


We have this setup but have not used it...as ost of are stuff does not fail..

I guess over a day you could schedule the Event to Check for Fails maybe 3 or 4 times per day..Or if runs at night then schedule the event once in the morning.

We have created a job in event studio to check the status. But it is not working.

We want to place a event studio job embedded in the actual job as a additional step. So, when the first step fails it should send mail.
