Hello Guys,

I have 2 reports, One that contains summarized data and the other contains more detail. I used the same parameters for both but for the first one I used cascading prompts to get the parameters.

Now I want to be able to drill through from the first report and then we can drill through from the second one back to the first. I have managed to create the drill through definitions and it is working fine from the first report to the second. The issue I have is when I want to drill through from the second to the first. It always opens in the Prompt Page.

What I am asking for is how to bypass the prompt page when navigating from the second report to the first ? is this because I am using cascading prompts in the first report ?

What do you think ?

Cascading would imply you have 2 parameters to satisfy... is Drill to rep 1 from rep 2 satisfying both?  Is the Drill to rep 1 from Rep 2 also set to prompt only if needed?

Hello Rocky .. Thank you for your response.

Yes, as I mentioned, both reports are using the same parameters and I am using all of parameters in the drill through definitions between both reports.

Try setting the the Required Property to Optional for the filters which uses all those parameters.
