Hi can any one explain me, how to put filters on Transformer model (cube), what I mean is I have a data from 2000 to till date, so I need a filter on date field (Year) the data is grater than 2005 or else. So I have put a filter on this..

Thanks in Adv..

What sort of datasource are you using to get data into Transformer?

If you are using flatfiles, if you go to the time dimension properties, click the time tab and change the 'earliest date to include' to the minimum date you want in the cube.

If you are using a DB source (eg. IQD or Cognos report), it would be preferable to not bring the unwanted data into the cube model in the first place by filtering your source queries (in Impromptu or C8),  but the above step will also work.

Thanks, I'm woking on iqd's, so can i change in iqd's or else?

Your options are:
1.  If your IQDs were created by Impromptu, open the original *.imr report, add a date filter to the report and resave the report as a *.iqd. file
2.  If your IQDs were created by Framework Manager, you will need to add a filter to the query subject in FM and republish the IQDs
3.  If your IQDs are handwritten (rare but it does happen) you can open the file in notepad and edit the SQL query to include a filter.

Options 1 and 2 are the preferable methods for changing the IQD.  Option 3 is dodgy and I wouldnt recommend it unless options 1 and 2 are not applicable.

Hope this helps!
