Hello,

i uses the Option CM.OUTPUTLOCATION to Save Reports to local filesystem as PDF file.
There is no problem to rename the PDF file, because i take the report name from the correspondent XML file.
I took a look to the XML file and found some another Values, which could be interesting:

<defaultDescription></defaultDescription>

I try to set an description in Congnos Portal in the properties of the test. But when saving the report, this field in the XML file was empty. Anybody maybe know, which Values i have to set in Cognos Portal, to get some information in this field?

Background: We use an old version of Cognos and want to send some reports via mail to the customer. I think,
it's not possible to change the report name with normal Cognos settings when scheduling the report.
It's not possible to upgrade Cognos to an actual version.

So the solution with CM.OUTPUTLOCATION works fine for us. An vbs script change the name of the reports and puts the actual timestamp to the end of the name.
Now we are looking for an solution, to send this reports easily via mail to the customer. So we want to extend the script. The script should read out some email addresses, which are stored in the xml file and send the reports to the customer.
But i don't found a field in Cognos portal, where we can insert some mail addresses and which are export into the XML file, when the reports is saved on harddisk.
