I have a requirement to pass filter value from "bar code" reader, is it possible?

If yes, please let me know what steps do I need to follow to get the value from "BAR CODE" reader to report column.

Please its ASAP ...

Does the barcode reader not simply act as an input device like a keyboard?

I'm confused by the question...
No, a proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof, and when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven.

A barcode is just another font.

You'll need to create a report with a prompt on it, and then use the barcode reader to populate the prompt.

As long as the prompt is the first item on the page the cursor should be there as soon as you run the report, and your barcode reader should have some sort of bundled software that lets it send data to the PC as if it were a keyboard when it scans something.

Hope that helps.

Do you want to directly scan the barcode and filter the report?
You need a mechanism first to have those barcodes populated in your table.
Then you can filter the data depending upon those values.
