I'm trying to do the "Full Content export with user information" and i'm getting the following error message.

CM-ADM-4006 The object named 'CM-ADM-4007 unknown name' at first logon, created at the time '2007-05-24T16:42:18.970Z', of class
'namespaceFolder', with the search path 'CAMID("ABC.com:f:ef97c57d4939254e94da9e06d6023b41")' no longer exists in the extenal authentication provider with the namespace name 'ABC'

I run the Consistency check
        Find and fix error

CM-ADM-4008 The object named 'CM-ADM-4007 unknown name' at first logon, created at the time '2007-05-24T16:42:18.970Z', of class
'namespaceFolder', and with the search path 'CAMID("ABC.com:f:ef97c57d4939254e94da9e06d6023b41")' was not deleted from the namespace 'ABC'. CM-REQ-4175 The security object "/Directory/ABC/ABC Users And Groups/FGK/2007-05-24T16:42:18.971Z" cannot be deleted. You must use Cognos Configuration, the Cognos 8 configuration tool, to modify the security settings.

I opened the case with the cognos and they can not resolve the issue. Is there any one who can help me with this.

I want to create a new C8ContentStore database and before that i want full export so that i can just import it after i create a new content store database

What happens if you run an export on all public folders including all options?
Can you export/import that?

Yes i can do that...I also search the 'CAMID("ABC.com:f:ef97c57d4939254e94da9e06d6023b41")' in C8Content Store database and  I found out that this entry is exist in couple of CMOBJPROS table. I'm thinking to delete that entry and then run the export. Is it save to remove the data from C8content store database?

I always consider the full content store exp/imp a junk out/junk in step.
I prefer the full public folders with all the options i need a more cleaner way. (especially form test/dev to prod)

Do what you feel comfortable with.
Just backup the content store on database level before removing entries on database level.

Maple

the reason for doing that because we are having issue to start the cognos service. We are getting error message.

Cognos support suggest that create a new content store database and then do the import because might be there is some problem with the content store database.

If i just do the public folder import then I'll lose all the user security and then i have to apply all the security again all over the place...

I had deleted those invalid entries from the content store database but now when I'm running "full content export with user info" giving me internal content store error message.

During the public folder export, it asks the question to include security and the reference to the external namespace.
This combination includes all the security you have set.
