I am perplexed and would be really grateful for some insight.  I have a report in Cognos 11.1 that I take to another server with the same version.  I use the "copy report from clipboard" to load it, and the text for one of the rows of column headers is a mirror image of what it should be!  The columns are in the correct order, but the label text is printed backwards.  I can't find any formatting that was placed on it, is there some kind of global setting or something that controls that?  There are two rows of headers, like:
|  Category 1            |  Category 2  |
| Col 1 | Col 2| Col 3 | Col 4 | Col 5 |

Only the second row is mirrored.

Thanks!

Is it possible the text direction button was pressed for the second column header? This will have an effect if the "Enable Bidirectional Support" preference is enabled for the user (in the portal). Maybe it is enabled for your user ID in the second server and not the first?

A link to this in the documentation is here:

Thanks!  That wasn't the problem but it gave me something to start looking at.

I unlocked the page objects so I could look at each cell title.  They were all set to right to left direction!  I'm not sure how this happened, since this report was copied directly over from another server where this is not set that way.
