In CA 11.1.4 can't save burst report settings to external file location

Hi All,

We upgraded to Cognos Analytics 11.1.4 and we have some reports which are bursted to a external file location on share folder on a windows server.
So we have a created a shared folder ad created  the folders in Dispatchers and Services.
So far so good, but when I select the burst options for a burst report and select the proper external folder, etc. and after saving I get a short pop-up 'updated job'.
Everything looks ok, but when I reopen these settings I see that the saving to external file location is still selected, but the burst settings are set back to default.
I use my admin account to set these burst settings. The folders defined in Dispatchers and Services set for user group 'everyone' and we use a relative path, a shared folder.
In Cognos configuration the used file location, in this case a shared folder, seems valid after performing a test.
The Cognos account has the proper rights on the share and folder on the server.     
I'm running out of options to solve this, I think it may be related to the rights/account on the shared folder or the folder on the server.

Do someone has any tips where to look to solve this burst-settings-saving-issue?
