OperationsAdmin group and User group

HI.
We have a super-user that we would like to have OperationsAdmin membership so he can see competing threads and performance if needed. But he also belongs to a User group for READ ONLY access to pull reports from the cube.

This combination appears to work fine in Excel/PAX  - he can pull reports there.
But it will not allow him the same access in the PAW Book.  We get an error -  Unable to Fetch Data. No enum constant

Any hints ?
