Hi All,

I have recently upgrade from Cognos 10.2 -> 11.1 and have configured Cognos 11 to use Salesfoce.com(Open ID) as the authenticator provider (previously used AD). Everything is working as expected, SSL and SFDC as authenticator.

-However, my only issue I see so far is the "Script Errors" I am getting when logging into Framework using SFDC.com as the authenticator provider.
-I received about 10 popups, asking if I want to continue to run scripts of the page.
-I close them all and then able to proceed to framework manager. Every time I try to do an import of a datasource, the popups appear again.
-I have searched online and found this issue to occur with users using SFDC in MS Outlook or MS Word.

Some of the script errors I am getting...

https://c1.sfdcstatic/ect/clientlibs/sfdc-aem-master/clientlibs_anaylics_login_top_min.1e0b1f...js
https://a.sfdcstatic.com/www/prod/oneTrust/onetrustConsent.js
https://c.salesforce.com/login-messages/promos.html"r=https%3A%Flogin.salesforce.com%2Fsetup....

Thank you.

Hi,

I think Framework manager tries to use Internet Explorer to display the login page. What version of IE do you have installed? Have you tried accessing SalesForce via IE to see if it's compatible?

Thank you MFGF for all your posts.

So, I entered the link https://c1.sfdcstatic.com/etc/clientlibs/sfdc-aem-master/clientlibs_analytics_login_top.min.1e0b1f40347d6c1883b8c52f6c63ef71.js into IE and a windows script popup appears asking if I want to save or open.

If enter the link in firefox, is see the code.(same in chrome)

I have also whitelisted the sites.

Framework is installed on the server where cognos resides.

I have searched but really couldnt find any info on this error. I did seem to find that people are having issues with Salesforce within MS Outlook(Also getting the same errors as me)!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a Windows desktop application operating from MS word and cannot replicate in MAC or other laptops.

Workaround
None at this time. This is seen in Desktop application occurring on Third party tool (MS) and not reproducible in supported browsers.

Updates
The issue was occurring on the login page due to the rendering of marketing content iFrames. As per salesforce WWE team, this content is no longer useful for tracking purposes hence we will be targeting to hide that content in the next release which can fix the script errors in IE.

Looks like a Salesforce issue? :o Right MFGF? Don't go crazy over it?

Workaround - enable AD authorization and have 2 login options?

Thanks for all your input.

Hi,

Yep - looks like this is an issue with Salesforce and IE. Unfortunately I don't know of a way to force Framework Manager to use a different browser when rendering the login page. Looks like others have been unable to use a different browser in the past too.
