Hi
I have easy installed cognos analytics 11.0.7 and am unable to see Others option. I have changed default value from 0 to 1 in installdata and metadata_config files. I have restarted the services also but still unable to see. Also, clear the cache memory of Internet Explorer and tried to check with IE , Chrome and Mozilla. But to no use. Please help and support.

Are you accessing CA via a web server (such as IIS)? If yes, have you re-started the web server and/or cleared its cache?

So, do you see the "Other" entry in the New menu, but not Query Studio/Analysis Studio etc in it, or is there just no "Other" entry at all?

Have you tried this:

Cheers!

Please support.

That's what I'm trying to do :)

Quick sanity check. Can you attach or copy and paste exactly what is in your installData.properties file

Also, can you check the file name is spelled exactly as above, and isn't something like installData.properties.txt (you might need to turn off the option to hide extensions for known file types to make sure)

Cheers!

Thanks for your support.
Please find the attachment

I can see that you have set the flag to 1 successfully, but are you sure you have named the file correctly? It looks like your file might be named installData, but it needs to be named installData.properties

Can you confirm the exact file name you are using?

I'm assuming the file name turned out to be the issue? Is it working now?
