access page object using cognos javascript

Hi,

Our reports has 2 tabs. When report is run its taking time to render the report. I want to conditionally display second tab for which i need form element "page" using javascript. When user clicks on the second tab only, i want to render the second page. Currently, it looks like its taking both tabs into consideration. can anyone help on how to access form element "page" (ie tab) on which i will write a onclick() event.
