Active report visualization won't adjust axes when clicking to filter

I have three visualizations in an active report using Cognos 11.  Visualizations 1 and 2 can be clicked on to filter visualization number 3.  Vis. 3 is a stacked bar, and ideally the axes would adjust for the filtered results.

I have the 3rd visualization set to "Category Range" = Filtered Data.  I have done this on another report and it worked, so I am unsure why the axes won't adjust.

It's possible to set Range in a number of places. Have you selected the measure and set Value Range to be Filtered Data?

Hi there-

I've only set the filtered data option on the X-Axis.  I don't see any options when I click on the measure, under "Values".  Is there another spot to specify filtered data for the measure?

In that case you must be using a new RAVE2 visualization? They should auto-scale automatically. Can you replicate the issue using the samples?

Hi MF-

We're on Cognos 11.07, and I don't have access to the samples.  I think I solved it though, which required moving my extra data items (connected to visualizations 1 and 2) from the "Colors" section to the "X-axis" section.  I have a note from a month or so ago saying that moving the extra fields to the x-axis will negatively impact my results, so I'll do some more testing this morning.

Do you know why my results would be impacted (the numbers that is) based on where my extra data items for filtering sit (extra categories section under "Color" vs. "X-axis")?

Thanks!
