Hi All,

We are working on to achieve a scenario where we have to break the crosstab column, for e.g. there is crosstab with Product Line in the Rows, Quantity in the Measures and Date in the Columns. We havent applied any filters in our report. What we are trying to achieve here is, we need to show only 10 columns at once i.e. 10 dates in the Crosstab, rest of the columns should break and appear in another Crosstab.

has anyone come across such requirement before, any inputs on this would be helpful. Attached herewith is the sample output.

Hi,

Steps:
1.Create a Cross tab with Product line in rows, Date in Columns and Revenue in Measures.
2.Create a Page set for the Page
3.Change Query2 of Page set to Query1 and Drag and Drop the Date in Grouping( Properties Pane)
4.In Page Create a New Link in Master detail Relationship with date
5. Fact cells precedence --> Columns
6.Render Page with Empty ---> No

In this it will show all the rows but it will splits the columns.

I Hope this may help you to move further.

Pratap

Thanks Pratap four your reply.

As per the solution provided by you, you are doing a page set on the Date column, i.e. dates will be displayed individually in each page.

What we are looking here to do is, show 10 columns at a time in the crosstab. we are not sure yet if this is achievable, but still trying on it.
