Good to know. But a bit surprised because just last week IBM told us that it will be in October.

I could find the fix list for 11.0.7 but is there any link you have where we can find the features included in this version?

Thanks
Kiran

Any more detailed patch notes than what's in New Release? Whats new for mapping?

Fix list can be found at the below link

MFGF,

My installation has security standards within the organization. As such, the upgrade to Cognos 11.0.7 (from 10.2.2) will utilize IIS 10 (installing on Win Serv 2016) but WebDAV will not be activated. Is there a workaround - not worried about the directory, but getting HTML images to render to Excel would be great.

I've thought through an SDK way to accomplish this, but am hopeful this was addressed in 11.

I don't see how the things you mention are related to each other.  I think your post is off topic.  Is this your question:

IceTea

We would like to do a 11.0.7 test installation on a machine which hosts parallel a 10.2.2 Test environment (which should neither be affected or replaced at this moment).

Do you guys think if it's possible to do a 11.0.7 Easy-Install on this machine?

Easy-Install because of the Informix-Contentstore which will be automatically installed and configured. Purpose is only do a 5 day PoC, this installation will be replaced after some weeks.

I will create a new question. But FYI I already know what the issue is (WebDAV is not enabled on my server, clearly stated earlier) and the impact (Image shows in HTML, will not render to PDF/Excel because we are not using relative paths). I appreciate the redirect, but it isn't relevant to my scenario.

IceTea:  Easy Install should work fine as long as it asks for a path to install into.  As long as the path is not the same as your 10.2.2 install, it should be fine.

Do watch out for overlapping port numbers though. The easy install configures the default port numbers (9300 etc) and tries to start the instance. If these ports are already in use by your 10.2.2 instance your 11.0.7 instance will not start.

Good catch, MFGF.  I forgot about that.

While the documentation does not provide any specifics (typical) it does say
QuoteYou can only perform one Easy Install on a machine.

Even with the lack of helpful, technical details, it would be nice if the technical writers had a mastery of the language.  The way this is worded, it sounds like there is only one thing more that I can do.  I must perform one Easy Install, then I must expire.  That's not true.  I can create reports.  I can eat lunch.  I can drive home.  I can go on a Hawaiian vacation and drink Mai Tais on the beach...

Better wording:
QuoteYou can perform only one Easy Install on a machine.

But, even then, I can perform one Easy Install on a machine.  Then, having reached my limit, I can have my buddy, Mike, perform another Easy Install on the same machine.

Even better wording:
QuoteOnly one Easy Install can be performed on a machine.
