Not seeing authentication providers in Cognos 10.1

I recently installed Cognos 10.1 on my Windows 10 machine. I had few glitches initially but so far everything is working fine.
But, when I go into Cognos Administration>Security>users, groups, roles I'm seeing only Cognos and that had only default groups and roles provided by the Cognos.
I was expecting to see NTLM also, because I installed it on Windows. Basically, what I'm trying to do is, create a new group or roles by adding members. I've created users on my machine to add them into the groups.
Do I need to configure authentication providers separately? if so, how?

Can someone please help me here?

P.S: I'm new to Administration and trying to learn and that is what my intention here.

Hi,

NTLM has been deprecated as an authentication provider in newer versions of Cognos BI, but I think it might have been still available in 10.1. If so, you will need to add it as an authentication provider in your Cognos Configuration utility. Launch Cognos Configuration on your BI server, and right-click on the Authentication option in the left pane. Select New Resource > Namespace, give it a name, and select NTLM as the type. I can't remember if there were any properties you need to define, but I'm thinking there weren't. If I'm right, you just need to save the configuration and restart your Cognos service.

Cheers!
