Currently we have a Public Folder and My Folder Tabs.  I would like to create another Tab called Development and list our users as folders so they can save their working copies.   I would like all users to have access to this and also allow users to copy their working copy and paste into the Public Folder.

I created a folder under Public Folders called Development and was trying to turn the contents of that folder into a tab, but no luck.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
Jon

What did you try? What issues did you encounter?

I'd create a portal page, add an IBM Cognos Navigator portlet to it, then edit the properties of the navigator portlet so it shows only the Development folder. You can then add this portal page as a tab.

Cheers!

Creating portal page and adding it to portal tab will help to achieve this for cognos 10 versions . But is there a way in c11 to do same?

Awesome, Found the navigator portlet. Thank you.

Do you know of a way where, when a user clicks on the tab, that it defaults to this directory "Public Folders > 00 - Development"

Adding Navigator gets me the whole list of folders in Public Folders.   I just want to go 1 level deeper showing only 00 - Development.

Thanks again!

Hi,

Yes - just edit the properties of the navigator portlet and you will see an option to select the folder you want to start navigating from:
