How do you set a value prompt to where it will find results as you type in your selection.  For example, I have a list of 2,000 employees names which are lastname, firstname.  I want to find John Smith without having to scroll all the way down the list to find the last name Smith.
So I want to type in S - m - i - t - h.  As I type in each letter it should become closer and closer to what I am looking for.  Presently, if I type in S it will take me the beginning of the S's but then I have to scroll down to find the name from there.  If I type in S and then m, it will take me to the beginning of the M's.  Any suggestions.  Or is this even possible.  Cognos Reportnet version is MR4.

Hi,

It's not quite what you have described, but a Select & Search prompt is the closest you can get using the inbuilt technology.
