audit of cubes usage

Hi all,

On an old Cognos Series 7, I have been asked if it is possible to know which user has been using which cubes, so how many time, etc,etc..
I'm not really in charge of this environment, just trying to give some help, and I'm currently working on things like Cognos Bi 10, etc so to be honest I don't remember much of this environment.
Do you think it is feasible, and if yes, how?
One "admin" told me that he has been able to get this information directly from the Cognos logs. I would prefer to avoid this solution (I guess it is tricky).

It depends how the cubes are being accessed. If PowerPlay Enterprise Server (PPES) is being used, it's possible to enable audit logging (to files) of cube access from this, but otherwise, if users are pointing PowerPlay Client directly at cube files in a folder on disk, there's no way to audit any of this centrally.
