Interactive filtering not working on cached data,filter triggers DB

Hi Folks,

I am currently working on interactive reports in Cognos 11.0.5

When I enable interactive mode and once I run the report the report in HTML,once I get the output, when I try to filter for any measure values lets say for Sales amount >1500,report again issues separate query for filter Sales amount>1500 to Database.

Report is developed using DQM enabled FM model and the expectation in above scenario is Cognos engine has to filter records in its cache data and there should not issue any query to Database.

Note:I have set query property to use local cache to Yes

Please let me know if I have to enable any settings in report to make the report to filter data on changed data, or please let me know if this is the default behavior of Cognos.
