A Text Child Node is Expected

I've been working for the past few hours on a report.  Attached is the Error message I receive when I run it. Can someone help me decipher it's meaning... thank you!

It sounds like the report XML is malformed. An object in the page does not have a text item when it should. The best way to find it is to do a binary search: Delete half of what you have and then run. If it works, undo and delete the other half. Repeat until you narrow down where the problem is.

Are you using joined queries? I've seen that error before when I have added the two queries I want to join, dragged in the data items I required and run the report - but have forgotten to actually set the Link and cardinality.
