Hello Everyone,
I have a question need your help. I have one reporting package works on Cognos8 but cannot open on Cognos 10. Here is the error message:

UT-DEF-0041 Unable to set the property for class (package) property (8). Specified type (String). Verify the metadata definition in classd.csv file.

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi,

What is the underlying datasource for the package? Is a cube or is it a package based on database data?

Hello MFGF,

It's a Oracle database.

Thank you very much!

Hello MFGF,

It's a Oracle database.

Thank you very much!

Hmmm. If it's a relational database it rules out a corrupt cube file. I'd try re-publishing the package from Framework Manager, and if that fails I'd recommend you open a PMR with IBM for this.

Cheers!

Thank you - MFGF!

I re-published this package from Cognos 10 FM and it still not working with same error message.

Oh dear. Worth a try - would have been good if it fixed things easily. I'd log this with IBM if I were you.

Appreciate - MFGF.

Never done this log before. Can you send the guidance to log this to IBM?

Thank you very much!
