Hello,

When i export the report data into excel from report studio i am seeing an extra row on the top of the header which is row number 1. Th heading starts from Row number 2 instead of one.

Is there any setting in congos to display the header in row 1 instead of row 2.

The name of the excel tab is also adding_1 at the end. Is there a way just to display page name as the excel tab name instead of adding_1 at the end of the tab name.

Our Cognos version is 10.1

Thanks,
Raju

Hi Raju,

on the first one, my assumption is you're creating a report from a template (rather than blank) that includes a page header. In Report Studio, go to Structure > Headers & Footers > Page Header & Footer, and there, uncheck the Header. Then export to excel, that should take care of it.

Second one, not that I know of. There is a setting (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEP7J_10.2.2/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.ug_cra.10.2.2.doc/t_ug_cra_adv_prop_name_worksht_tabs_excel2007.html) to rename pages coming out of a page set with the value of the item breaking the page rather than the page name, and if that is activated, the _x is omitted.
