I'm having an issue where my users can login to our Cognos enviroment via their Active Directory credentials. However, when their password expires and they provide the old password and new password it shows this error.

"_NOT_TRANSLATED_(CAMUserNameForDisplay)"
Error: 403
CAM-AAA-0056 Unable to authenticate

I've gone into Cognos configuration tested the namespace and its working fine. Anyone got any ideas on what I should do?

This is happening on both Cognos 10.2 and Cognos 11 installations.

Interesting... Either a config problem or bug..

Can you post all the config for the namespace? LDAP or native ad?

The "change expired password", or "change password at first logon" functionality is only supported in the native AD connector (as it´s api based)
It does not work in the ldap authentication connector.

Can you explain this alittle more and how I would go about fixing it?

In Cognos 10 I would just setup my AD LDAP connection in Cognos Configuration and disable anonymous authentication. Is there something else I need to do?
