Hi all,

Quick question.

I have a report and the prompts are on the report page.

If no data matches the selected prompt values then the entire page goes blank rather than returning the value set in the 'No Data Contents'

How do keep it so that the prompts remain available?

The query used for the results and for the prompts are separate.

Cognos functionality is for the prompts to remain visible and for whatever is defined in No Data Contents to appear. The behavior you're describing is unusual.

Are you using conditional variables anywhere? What version of the product are you using? Are you able to reproduce this in a simplified report and attach the report specs?
