Data Item Label not shown in Users local when using Joins and DQM

Hello,
this thread is not really a question, it is more a survey to get your reviews. We are using Cognos 10.2.2 + Fixpack 5.


I have a Frameworkmanager Package were some additional languages are defined, so that data items labels are automatically translated. This works fine so far.
But when I use a packgae in DQM and in reports based on this package, the data item are based on joins, then the data items labels are not shown in the users local, only the basic (active) project language is working. When I publish the same package in compatible query mode then it works.

IBM says this is not a bug, it is wanted.

What is your option for this behaviour?
I thing the answer from IBM is very insolent, and they just see no reason to fix this bug until more or larger customers report this bug.
