"manage" option is missing in the portal...though logging in as admin...

Hi Folks

Recently we installed and configured cognos Analytics on our test  server.

once everything is complete we are not able to see the "Manage" option in the cognos portal.I logged in as a Admin

To access admin console we are logging in thru dispatcher URL.

Please let me know if we have to do anything else to Manage option in cognos anayltics portal .

please refer the doc for more clarity.

Hi sballapu,

Which option have you selected while installing Analytics. Have you used "Custom" or "Ready to install".if it is custom are you installing it on multi server?

Are you using trail version or licensed version?

Hi BVK,

Ours is a licensed one. Its a single server installation ,not custom and there is no Seperate gateway.

We had the manage option vanish on me when upgrading in place to 11.0.2.  Drove me crazy looking for an answer out in the wilderness.  I took a chance and ran the AddSysAdminMember script to add everyone back into the system admin group, logged in as anonymous and re-added my admin group and that fixed it.  YMMV but I think C11 is still all sorts of wonky - it seems to be getting better however and it sure looks pretty.

Hi sballapu,

May be your issues is not same as my issue.Are you using IE or Chrome browser? I have seen this issue in Chrome but when I actually try it IE it working fine.

if your using chrome could you please try it in IE.
