Setting a Default Namespace

We have added a second Namespace for authentication as we are in the process of doing a physical server migration and have a new and old LDAP running at the moment.

Using SSO to login I then get an IBM window asking which namespace to authenticate to.

Want to skip this and just take me directly into Cognos 10.2.2

In Cognos Configuration:

Security ==> Authentication ==> Advanced properties.

Add and under Name put (note the capital N exact spelling is very important) defaultNamespace under the Value column put the Namespace ID of your LDAP.

Save and then re-start Cognos.
