Excel with Multiple rows and columns Import as prompt inputs

Hello

Bit of a convoluted topic but here is my question and I am hoping you could help.
I have an excel spreadsheet that contains a number of rows for different customers, dates, report numbers etc as below....

Report No  Acc No     Start Date     End Date       Output    Make Code
611,          a000000, 01/01/2016, 31/01/2016, pdf
612,          a123456, 02/02/2015, 27/03/2015, xls,         6

I was wondering how I could copy these lines into a prompt and then produce seperate reports per line.

Use manage external data option in cognos to import data from excel and then drag list take all the dataitems which you want then select list columns such as in your case customers,dates,report numbers then goto tools click on build prompt page option so it will build prompt page then run
