cognos 11 on sql server 2012 with windows x-64-64

can we install cognos 11 on sql server 2012 windows 10 x-64-64 .ibm saya windows x-86-64.i am installing cognos 11 64 bit.

I believe so. Windows 10 64-bit appears to be a supported OS and SQL Server 2012 is a supported database.

thanks mgmf.i am aware of this doc but i am getting the content manager unable to connect to content store.i removed the 11 cognos and tested it with 10.1.1 cognos same error .do i need to change port 1433 to some other else

What type of install did you choose? Ready to Run? Custom?

I had similar issues (Windows7/Windows10 & SQL2008/SQL2012/SQL2014), but it was my installation error.
Don't know if your are facing the same (what kind of error are you getting)?

When a port is not available Cognos is trying to get a free port, but does not change this new port on the combination AppServer / Configuration.
Check your Cognos Configuration setting and your AppServer.

I did a clean Custom Installation (default port 9300 is used), after installing the IF port 9300 was in use (by Cognos) and Cognos was going to 9305.
So my environment was never up again because I had to change my settings.
