Cognos 10.2.1 on MS Server 2012
MS Server 2012 using AD_Lite
IIS v8

Login runs through a custom namespace.
IE has no issue - login to Cognos and run reports

Chrome gets login
Pass username and password
Screen flashes and then back to login

The only thing that I can see it appears that chrome is dropping the cookie with the auth. token

IE works perfectly?

Any ideas?

Suresh Reddy

Hi,

Try to apply below settings for Chrome  and check again.

Cookies: Allow local data to be set
Images: Show all images
JavaScript: Allow all sites to run JavaScript
Pop-ups: Allow all sites to show pop-ups

As per product advice Chrome is not a supported browser.. ;)

Suresh.

QuoteAs per product advice Chrome is not a supported browser.

Not so. As per IBM Cognos documentation http://www-969.ibm.com/software/reports/compatibility/clarity-reports/report/html/softwareReqsForProduct?deliverableId=1330380859450&osPlatform=Windows#sw-17, Chrome "41 and future versions, releases and fix packs" is a supported browser for Cognos 10.2.1.

Thanks Suresh Reddy

I have already applied the settings that you suggested as per IBM Cognos browser recommended settings.
Chrome has limited support - It will display the workspace but you cannot get the Cognos Administration page

If I set Anonymous to true in the IBM Cognos Config - Chrome works.
Its strange that IE is fine and only Chrome is not authenticating?
