CM-CFG-5063 A Content Manager configuration error was detected while connecting to the content store.  CM-CFG-5023 Content Manager is unable to initialize the content store by using the initialization file "D:\COGNOS10_64\configuration\schemas\content\oracle\dbInitScript_oracle.sql". Review the configuration for the content store database in IBM Cognos Configuration to ensure that the settings are correct. Verify that the account used to access the content store is still valid by checking the status of the password and account permissions. Verify that the account that Content Manager uses has sufficient permissions to create, to connect to, and to initialize the file contents in the database. Cause: ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object     Stack trace:  java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object .

Can anybody please help ?

Isn't this the same problem that you were describing here?
http://www.cognoise.com/index.php/topic,29993.msg97489.html#msg97489

Can you go into a bit more detail about what steps you performed to troubleshoot the problem and what you observed please.  Some of the questions asked in the previous thread were not answered.  Answering them would be useful as well.

thx

Yes, sorry to re posting it again. Actually I was not able to get the old link.

Queries/Amswers:
##Have you taken the steps suggested in the message? If you look at the Oracle database now, do you see any tables created during the content store initialization process?

Answer- Yes I have followed all steps as indicated in error message. In oracle db, I am able to see tables now.

## Are you trying to reuse existing database?
This is time I have created new schema and database. The name given is never being used in past. Still I faced the same error.

We are having very similar messages trying to spin up a new CA 11.0.13 instance with an Oracle Content Store.
Everything tests successfully in Cognos Configuration, but then error messages appear during start-up of services.

How did you resolve your issue?
We are working actively with IBM, but I was hoping you might have information that can help.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Adam.
