error In cognos 'sqlOpenResult' Status='-239'

Hi experts!!
yesterday i received that error in cognos ,  after googling a little bit  I found the answer in that link

" I got it working. I changed the "auto group and summarize" on main query to "No" and I was able to run it  "


For me worked to, the Problem is that I have to documented my Report and I have no way to explain why that happened and why I decided to solved it like this.... so like Workaround is perfect , but I would like to understand what happen..

does anyone have any Idee??
