Extra Pie chart appearing while exporting in Excel

Hi,

I am new to cognos. I have report which contains 2 pie charts. Am trying to export a report to "excel 2007 Format"option . However in the excel, I get an extra pie chart. I don't know from where it is puling this chart. It works well when I export it to PDF but I want it in Excel. Please help me solve this issue asap.

Hi,

Pie charts can't normally manifest themselves without being defined somewhere. I'd wager it's a safe bet for me to say that your report is defining this chart and hiding it when rendering in HTML or PDF. We can't see your report, though, and you haven't given us any detail about the structures defined in there, which means it's impossible for us to know what's going on. You're either going to have to find it yourself, or else provide lots of detail about what's in your report...
