Hi folks, :)

I have two Totaling Crosstab Spaces (w/ fact cells) in my Crosstab. I'm dropping the different columns
for these cells from calculations that I have created. Now, I need to do a grand total column showing the
total counts at the right side of the two cells.

Could you please let me know if you have any suggestions.

When I use the Summary or Total options, I get two separate Total, once for each Cell Columns.

Thx in advance for your time.

Hi,

You have two crosstab spaces with fact cells? Did you drop these into the rows area or the columns area? I'm not quite getting what you mean by "I'm dropping the different columns for these cells" - isn't the idea of a Crosstab Space that it is an empty space in the crosstab? Can you explain?

What does "I get two separate Total, once for each Cell Columns" mean? Can you explain?

MF.

Sorry.  :)

Please see attached. I'm using the Crosstab Cell (w/ Fact Cell) that is used when you are dealing with multiple Crosstab intersection.
So, the two Crosstab Intersections shown are based on two Crosstab Cell (w/ Fact Cell).

I used the following steps and it works fine other than the Totals for the Column Edge.(Spreadsheet Cell "D" in the mockup)

Create a new data item in the query that contains your custom calculation (e.g. total()/count() for average)
Add a 'Crosstab Space (with fact cells)' object to the right side of your crosstab
Select the new fact columns. They should display <#1234> in design view.
Set the 'Define Contents' property to 'Yes'. The default values should disappear.
Unlock the report (lock button in the toolbar or Structure>Lock Page Objects from the menu bar)
Drag the data item created in step 1 into the new right-hand summary cells.
Be sure to re-lock the report when done adding summary values

Hope this explanation is better
