"Reference report" not available as option when trying to create Booklets

Hello everyone!

I have a business need to use a report Booklet, so I first added a Table of Content, then when moving to Pages I don't see the Reference Report object on the left side. I only have Pages and Set of Pages options.

This is Cognos 10.2.1

Doc (https://www-304.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSEP7J_10.2.2/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.ug_cr_rptstd.10.2.2.doc/t_rpt_studio_create_rpt_booklet.html) says: "You cannot add references to other reports if you set the option to show report pages as tabs in HTML output (File > Report Properties)."

I tried several values on my properties screen (attaching screenshot) but none of them work to finally get the "Reference Report" object displayed as option. Can someone please tell me if that is the correct place where to go and edit the settings. And if so what are the exact options I should set there.

Hi Rossana

Report Booklets were not part of the original 10.2.1 release - they were added as part of Fix Pack 1 for 10.2.1 (ie 10.2.1.1). I'm guessing you are not patched to that level, or else you would see the "Report Reference" object in the Pages toolbox in Page Explorer.

You can either update your 10.2.1 instance to the latest fix pack (currently FP8 as of today, 9th September 2015) or upgrade to 10.2.2

Thought there was not such a big difference between  10.2.1 and  10.2.1.1 release.
