javascript to set the date prompt with edit option to current date on press on b

Hi All,

I am using Cognos 10.2, and data model is relational, I have a requirement to set the date prompt with edit option to current date on press of the button, by default the date prompt will be set to current date, where I have set date prompt with some default values, I wanted to set the default value in the date prompt with current date on press of the button.

Can some one please me a java script on the same.

Your help will be much appreciated.
