Better performance using calculted member instead of hierarchy member?

Hi!

How can report performance be better if I use calculted member instead of hierarchy member in the slicer?

I have a report that takes 30 seconds to execute when I use hierarchy members in the slicer. But if I replace the hierarchy members with calculted members, representing the same members as my hierarchy member, the report only takes 10 seconds to execute.
