Hi,

Scenario 1:
We are always showing latest 12 months of data in Active Reports.
Whenever we get new months is loaded into the database, and when running the active reports with the latest data, the file size is growing considerably.

Scenario 2:
We are showing same 12 months of data in Active Reports.
Whenever we get new months is loaded into the database, and when running the active reports, the file size is also growing (in general this should be same).

Any Suggestions on this should be helpful.

Thanks

Have you investigated how many rows of data are being included in the rendered MHT? Just because you limit your selection to 12 months doesn't necessarily mean the row count will remain the same. Is it possible that you have more transactions happening during each month as time progresses? You can see the data stats for the MHT by going into Debug mode when running the report in your browser <ctrl><shift>D then using a right-click and selecting "Info"

Cheers!

it returns around 10000 records.
I am unable to check the data stats in debug mode can you.I tried with Ctrl+Shift D while running the report, but I did not notice anything.
Can you briefly explain on this...

Hi,

As above, first press <ctrl><shift>D to enable Debug mode (you won't see anything change, and it toggles Debug mode on and off again if you repeat the same key sequence) then right-click and choose "Info" from the right-click menu.

Cheers!

Thanks MF for giving valuable suggestions.

What is the use of "Enable accessibility support"  in Cognos Scheduler?
When I am Enableing this feature the Size of the Active Report is Growing

So  do I need to disable this feature whenever I am scheduling the reports?

Please let me know.

Thanks

Hi,

Accessibility Features are there to assist users with physical disabilities (ie limited vision etc). If your report audience does not include people with these kinds of disabilities then you don't need the features included.
