Report Parameter output type

We have an option to run a report at the Country or State or City level. As of now the default output is in HTML.
If a user select the Level as "City", is there a way to change the output to Excel automatic ?

Hello vamsivanka,
I do not believe there is a way to change the output format based on the prompt selections. However you can employ conditional showing of a drill through link, either by doing an auto-submit on the prompt or using JavaScript. The drill through link will call the same report, a self-drill-through, but the output version would be set as Excel in the drill through definition.
