Tree prompt is very slow using TM1 as datasource

In my report I have tree prompt which takes almost 4-5 seconds to expand each node. Hence its very annoying for the users to expand the tree prompt till the last level and select any element. I am using TM1 as data source. Is there any way I can make the expansion of each node fast?
