Mobile Configuration URL / Android

I have generated the Cognos Mobile configuration url (the cmug://xxxxx) address.

When I receive the link via e-mail on iOS, it's clickable and brings up the Mobile app just fine.

On our 2 test Android devices, the link in the e-mail body is just text, it's not a clickable URL.  Is this just due to the way each individual Android mail app handles parsing the URL and just doesn't recognize it as valid?  Both the Android test phones have Cogos Mobile installed first as well.
