Is it possible to download the workspace to desktop

      Is there a possible way to save the workspace outputs locally the way Active reports are saved.

Hi Sameena,
unfortunalty thats not possible. Active Report are a application build with mhtml, saving data and layout information within that file. That mhtml file can be interpretet by your browser with the know functionality like sliders e.g. The information about a dashboard build in workspace is just a xml file, which need a tool (workspace) to be interpreted.

Therefore, in case you want a mobile interactive dashboard-experience you might consider building a dashboard with active report technlogie in report studio.

Not really what you asked for, but... If you have the proper licensing and provision your BI servers (covered in install guides), you can use the Cognos Insight desktop tool to share workspaces that can be saved on the server. I do not think there is a way to be able to open a workspace in both the desktop tool and a web browser, though. (That would be cool. :) )
