email link in a report with Hyperlink in body

A sales manager wants to run reports then send emails to the owner of the accounts if something looks like it needs to be addressed.

The email I have is working fine, but the mangers want to click the email and have it take them to a cognos report and or webpage (separate from cognos)

So what I need is a way to have the body of the mailto contain a link.

For example the email is currently


Dear Sales Person

Account 1245 is overdue and needs your attention.

If you are running these from a schedule, look at the schedule options. Check "Override the default values", then look under delivery options and to the right of "Send a link to the report by email" click on "Edit the options...". You can build whatever you like in the body, including hyperlinks, and check whichever combo of report or link you want at bottom of this page.

Well, the need for this has come back.

This is not from a scheduled report, but from an ' on demand' report

That doesn't make sense then...if it's on demand they're running the report anyway - what does it need an email for?
