Hi Gurus,

Though I a aware about Aggregate Awareness in Cognos dynamic cubes..But for some project requirements I need to know whether Aggregate Awareness is available  in Cognos Power Cubes and Materialized views as well or is there any way we can implement agreegate awareness in Cognos Power cubes and Materialized views

Many Thanks
Tarun

Nope.

Any awareness of aggregates is purely in the thoughts of the developer creating the model in Transformer. A PowerCube generally holds measures at the lowest (most granular) level of each dimension and rolls them up as required. If the model is designed with dimensions that tie in to the values in an aggregate table or view in your warehouse, you can source the dimension and the related measures from this rather than from the underlying detail table(s), but it's entirely your decision at the point at which you are defining the data sources for Transformer to use.

Once a PowerCube has been built, aggregate tables are meaningless, since the cube is a standalone file (or group of files) and is entirely detatched from any database. You can partition the cube to "pre-aggregate" measures at certain levels within the cube file(s) if you wish, and this can sometimes provide improved performance at higher levels of analysis where the cube is quite large. It's probably the closest concept to Aggregate Awareness that PowerCubes support.
