display department name related to department number

Hi All,

I have a crosstab and am displaying department number in rows, year in columns and salary in measures.
i want to display department name under department number to display total for entire department.

For reference please find the attached.

The screenshot you have attached is it your requirement ? Cos from what you have given i dont think the crosstab is effectively used here the code and the name represents the samething what is the point of repeating the same measure twice when you know that the dept.no  wise total will be same as dept. name total ?

It looks to me like you just need to nest location within region and summarise the locations?

Sorry - I don't follow. What do you mean by this?

If you nest location within region, you will see the locations for a region within that region.

Can you explain what you mean?
